London Business School

London Business School

The corporate video is longer than the other two videos. The video starts off showing you shots of the building with a steady pace with the title in the middle of what the corporate video is about. A few seconds in the video gets faster and shows loads of people from different races so it’s already telling you that there’s a mix race in this company. When they show interviews they blur the background out so they pay more attention to the person talking. They show some more interviews of people who are young males or females or middle age people. During the interviews they seem tense and not relaxed like the other videos, for this one they actually show them moving their hands more. For the shot of the interview they are all close ups. During the whole corporate video they repeat clips a lot, i.e. showing the same clip before a sub title is shown or of people working, they do this for the whole thing. For these clips they mostly show mid-shot or close-up but they do sometimes show wide-shots. A lot of the time the clips are either on a steady pace or a quick pace. They show clips of London at 1:41 minutes in before a subtitle is shown and they repeat this a few times of London then in 5:00 minutes into the video they show London at night time but they change with the two clips of London throughout the video. Through most of the videos if they don’t show an interview they have a voice over exampling what they are as well as showing what they do. They also show people working outside but they don’t repeat the clips like they do with the others, but it’s again on a fast pace, throughout the whole video they have music playing but it slows down in the middle then speeds up near the end. For the whole corporate video it’s too long as it’s over 10:05 minutes and just repeats everything for the clips. At the end of the video they have a white background and again show the name of the company with the music coming to an end.

Homefield Vet

Homefield Vet

The Homefield vet promo starts off with a white background and has their logo fading in with paw prints at the same time it has music playing in the background. 6 seconds in it goes off to the first interview of the director of the vets, during the interview they show clips of the outsides of the building then some vets working with the animals, she then tells us that they have a 24 hour service. The next person who got interviewed was the practice manager. She explains how she started at the bottom of the ranks and worked her way up to the manager at the same time as during her nurse training practice there.  Whilst she’s talking they show clips of other vets working, 48 seconds in the video she mentions that they have had people with 20 to 30 year’s experience, as well as some other vets who have 2 to 3 years experience explain they have a nice variety of people with different years experience. At 1.07 in the video the music changes from a nice upbeat to a nice slow beat, they still show clips of inside of the building and some vets looking and taking care of some animals whilst the practice manager is talking who is telling us how they work hard and how they work to the best they can be, it then changes the person talking to the director who explains they have a nice caring environment and how the staff are happy working and relaxed with each other to work and when the animals arrive they treat them like family till they leave showing how much they care for them. During the whole promo video the two people who are both interviewed are both white females, and that this promo is aimed at anyone who has a pet and that they are there for you and your pet. The promo ends with one of the animals walking out with still a slow beat music playing and then shows the details e.g. of the vets with a white background again. The whole video is 2.31 minutes long which isn’t very long but they get a lot of information in as well as showing clips of them taking care and of the animals and how the staff gets along with each other.

This corporate video starts off with a steady but has a beating type of music as well as an exterior shot of the Apple building. It then goes off showing two young Americans working with a voice over and then shows the person talking who is African American who is a middle age black male. During most interviews they either have mid-shots or close up with a blurred background so the person talking is standing out. Throughout the video it shows young middle age people of different races and ages working and has either an American or African American voice over. The interviews of the people who are different races and genders which shows that Apple will take anyone and it doesn’t matter of what race or gender or where you are from. Sometimes they have people talking in their native tongues in 2:47 in the video as well as 3:21 so they put subtitles in so you can understand what they are saying and the subtitle are in a clear font so you can read them, both people who talk in their native tongues are females one who is young and the other who is middle age and they are both white. Throughout the whole corporate video there is music playing, the music either has a slow beat or it has a fast beat so you don’t lose track of the video, the music still plays during the interviews but is quiet so you can hear the people talking. For the length of the video is that it’s not too long or too short it’s about 5 minutes long and gets the full message to people. During the promo the camera shots are all different instead of just mid or close ups you have wide shots of people working. During the video everyone seen in it is either working hard but during the interviews you can see how they are relaxed. It’s a steady pace but does pick up some speed when you see people working but during the interviews it’s a slow but normal pace. With the voice overs they are clear and are in sync. The video is edited well, it gets the message out and it doesn’t lose track of what it’s trying to say to people. For the end of the promo it shows the Apple logo and the music slowly coming to an end.
